This course is designed for public safety dispatchers to have an understanding ofhostage negotiation principles, various roles, responsibilities and challenges a dispatcher may face in such a situation, techniques used by negotiators, field unit response, techniques for dealing with the aftermath.

  • Cancellations for any reason after the time of registration and up 14 calendar days before the course presentation will receive a refund of 50% of the total paid registration cost with credit card processing fees excluded.
  • Cancellations within 13 calendar days of presentation will not receive any refunds or future credits.
